The story
How it's
actually made.
Pepper vines climb the shade trees on our estate in Chikmagalur and Sakleshpur, high in the Western Ghats. We pick only the ripest berries (when they turn red-orange), sun-dry them on bamboo mats for 7-10 days, and grade by size. Only the largest, boldest berries make the pack.
